Rowanmyle is the affix belonging to Mhairi Vallance. I live in rural East Ayrshire, and my family have owned Irish and Gordon Setters for over 25 years, but in 2003 I broke the mould and bought my first English Setter - Hamish. Hamish was followed in 2008 by Elgin, and then in 2010 Logan joined the gang. My English are very much pets that just happen to be shown, when work commitments allow, I work as a receptionist at my local vets. I also own Rowan (a Border Collie)and five cats - Ivy, Elvis, Mouse, Morris & Ginny. I am a committee member for Cumnock & District Canine Club, and I am on the C List for judging English Setters.

My sister Kimberley has Irish Setters and owns the Corcencone affix. She is on the C List for judging Irish Setters. Kimberley is often joined at shows by our niece Katie - who is now a very successful Junior Handler.
